Soccer Mom

Abby starts soccer tomorrow evening. Mike will take her, since it's after dinner and I'll be getting the babes ready for bed. She is very excited, although when I first asked her if she wanted to play she exclaimed, "Sure!! ... What is soccer?" She's playing with her friend Ella from school, so I'm sure they will have a good time. We went out today to get her some tennis shoes, since all she has are sparkley (!) shoes, and some shin guards, which are recommended. I'm sorry I'm going to miss it, but hopefully one evening the twins and I will be able to make it.

Abby also had swim class today. After Sunday's lesson, the teacher recommended that she be moved up to Littles 2. The only opening they had was Tuesday at 9am. As I expected, it was a bit hard to keep the twinners under control, but I figure we can do it for 8 more weeks. I'm glad she is progressing, the girl can really swim underwater and has some great kicks!

H&G are doing well. Hannah had a bit of a meltdown in Target today...in her defense, Griff was grabbing her head and shaking it back and forth as they were sitting in the cart, but only for a split second :-) (she sits in the front of the cart, and he sits in the actual cart part). She gave a pretty good loud scream that left me looking around to see who was staring at us. She finally calmed down, but that was the first time I was even a bit embarrassed in a store with them.
Kona is doing much better. He somehow was able to push off the huge red wrap that was on his leg the very first night he was home. The vet could hardly believe it. The hardest part is keeping him contained in a small area all day, because he so wants to be out where the kids are.

Enjoy the pictures.

And finally, Griff relaxing and watching some tv after a big meal......
