Poor Kony......and kiddie pictures

Oh, I feel so badly for Kona. Mike picked him up after work and the poor guy looks just awful. Mike and I were not expecting to see this. He goes back on Monday to get the red wrap and the pink pain patch harness off. He then needs to go back in two weeks for x-rays to make sure he's healing correctly. I'm hoping he feels better tomorrow. He's just whining and sleeping tonight.

Random pictures of the kids from the last couple of days. Everyone is doing fine. Hannah & Griff are really working on their words, and seem to be talking more and more each day. Their all time favorite activity these days is going outside. If they see me walk towards the mudroom, they assume we are heading out and grab their shoes and coats and bang on the door! Speaking of shoes, they are still obsessed with shoes, specifically their own crocs. It is rare to see Hannah without her crocs on her feet. They are sometimes on the wrong feet, but she's got 'em on!
Abby has been practicing her writing lately. She loves to write letters to people (expect to receive some in the mail soon!). She can't spell the words yet, but she is sounding them out and can usually guess what each word starts with. I sit with her when she writes - she tells me what she wants to say, and I spell the words for her. The progress she makes day to day really astounds me.
Enjoy the pictures..and think a good thought for Kona!

Rough-housing with dad, RIGHT before bed, of course.

Abby doing her impression of Mary Poppins (her own description!)

Griffin's favorite outdoor activity - pushing the wagon around

Hannah watching a ball roll into the street (at least she's not running after it!)

Miss Abby writing me a note!
