Bit of Fun in the Rain

I'm losing track of the days, and I have no idea when I took these, but safe to say it was within the last five days or so. Anyway, five minutes after taking these few pictures it started pouring down rain, so we had to take our fun inside. Hannah & Griff love riding their little bikes up and down the street, and Griff especially can really get his pedals moving! Sometimes he goes so fast his little feet fly right off the pedals!

And I got this one of Hannah this morning. I'm creating an art book of all the art the kids have made over the last year, and I needed a picture of Hannah to add to it. She hasn't been into having her picture taken lately, so I was happy to get one of her smiling.

I Just Love Getting Dressed for Tea

We picked up Abby's ballet recital costume yesterday at ballet class. I wish I would have had my camera to capture how her eyes LIT up at the sight of the costume. Her recital isn't until the end of May (mark your calendars :-) , but for some reason we got the costume a full two months early....no idea why. Now I just have to keep repeating multiple times a day, "no, you may not just try it on one more time." We'll be lucky if it's not distroyed by May! Of course we had to try it on for Dad when we got home from work. Then Abby decided she wanted to give a little performance. Hannah tried to get into the action, but didn't want her picture taken, so I got none of her looking at me. Griff just wanted to sit with Mike and read all the library books he picked at the library earlier that day. Enjoy the pictures!

Two Wheelin' It.....

And she's off! Abby mastered riding on two wheels this afternoon in the matter of minutes. No more training wheels for her! She still has a bit of trouble with the dismount, but she is off and riding and couldn't be having more fun! She also gave Mike and me a workout, running after her making sure she didn't fall off!
Got a few pictures of Griff, too, but poor little Miss Hannah was still not feeling herself and told me "No pictures, Mama".

Out and About

It wasn't especially warm today, but the sun was shining so we got outside after the twins woke from their naps. We didn't do much, but did take some walks and got out some of all that energy the kids seem to have! Enjoy the pictures.

And this last one I took while I was making dinner. Hannah is lying on Abby, and the both of them are watching Arthur (the cartoon) on tv. There is a little bit of love between them :-)

That's Right.....

.....no socks and no jacket today. It was a balmy 62 degrees and seriously, the entire neighborhood could not have been happier! Everyone was out and about enjoying the sun and warm weather. I know we are not in the clear yet, but they say it's supposed to be in the 50s the rest of the week, so I'm hopeful that we won't have any more snow storms.

I was out with Abby while the twins napped today, and she was having fun on her scooter. The pictures of Hannah and Griff are from yesterday (Sunday). I had lots more, but I accidently erased them off the camera before downloading them to the computer - oops.

Visitors

Great Grandma Meiers, Great Aunt Mary Kay, and 2nd cousin Rich came out for a visit and lunch on Friday. Abby, Hannah and Griff were thrilled to have three people here giving them lots of attention! They were all a bit over excited, and couldn't wait to show off for everyone. I only got one picture, and everyone is looking at Mary Kay taking her picture - figures!
The other picture is from Thursday night. Griff has a 'thing' for sweaters. He wants to pick out his own clothes every day, and each day he picks a sweater. If I suggest something else, he gets a bit irritated with me and clearly says to me, "no, this sweater." Anyway, Mike came home from work and was wearing a sweater. As soon as Griff saw Mike in it, he demanded to try it on himself, telling Mike his sweater was pretty :-)

That's all for now. Kids are napping, but once they wake up we'll be going outside. It's close to 50 degrees today.....a heat wave!
