Abby's Bathroom

Ah, it's finally finished. I've been working on Abby's bathroom for the last month or so. She wanted it painted purple to match her room, so I told her I would paint it for her, and while I was at it, decided to decorate it with a bit of a fairy theme, since she's so into fairies right now. It turned out really cute, and she likes it, so that's what counts. We did have a bit of a problem with the shower curtain......you'll see below it's just a plain white curtain with a bit of a light purple trim. I put it up and Abby cried....cried hard....she missed her old shower curtain (if I'm getting this emotional reaction already at four, about a shower curtain, I'm afraid to imagin what I'm in store for when she's 12 and I tell her she can't do......anything). She begged that the old curtain go back up....the one with the pink, blue and yellow flowers. I told her it didn't match, and she says to me, "I'm not a matchy girl Mom." That was about a week ago, and she seems to have made peace with the new shower curtain. I will, however, put the old one back up if she asks me to....even if it doesn't match.
