The Tooth Fairy?

Abby comes downstairs this morning, right after waking up, telling me her tooth hurt. Great, I thought, all those Swedish Fish I let her eat have given her a cavity. I walk over to her and tell her to open wide and tell me which tooth hurts, craining my neck to look in the back of her mouth. She closes her mouth and says, no mama, my front one....it's moving. I said what? I take my finger and feel her front bottom tooth and sure enough, it's moving back and forth. I can't even tell you how excited she is at the prospect of losing her first tooth. She's been working it all day, either with her tongue or finger. I, on the other hand, can't believe she is old enough to lose a tooth....we will keep you posted!

Mike is building Abby, Hannah and Griff a sandbox. He got the base built on Sunday, and is planning on building the roof this weekend. It has a really cool shingled roof, and it should look cute when it's all finished.

While Mike was busy building on Sunday, Abby thought it would be fun to paint all the scrap pieces of wood. So we set her up on the deck and she kept busy most of the afternoon.

Today I went to school with Abby b/c her class was having a Mother's Day celebration. I had a really good time. We had "tea", cream puffs and got to plant a flower in a pot she painted. Dawn came to watch the twins, so it was nice not to have to chase after them while trying to spend time with Abby. Forgot the camera, so no pics, oops.

Nothing new with Hannah and Griff....they still love to play outside. I had promised we could go outside this afternoon after I was finished making lasagna for dinner. And I'm not kidding, every 5 minutes Griff would come up to me and say, "go?". He so wanted to be outside!
