Abby
* Told me the other day, and I quote: "moms are nice, but they're weird, too". She said this completely out of the blue. I have no idea what I might have done to have deserved such a comment!
* The next day, she told me, and I quote: "I want to be just like you when I grow up, and I'm going to live with you forever." I asked her if she was going to live with me when she was married and had kids, and she said, "of course. You'll be the grandma and we will live with you." I love her :-)
* Has a very real fear of fires. Every night she makes me close her door completely to keep any fire out, and in the morning, she calls out for me to get her, refusing to open her door in case there is a fire in the hall. No idea where this fear came from, but it's been going on a couple of weeks, and has caused some nightmares.
Hannah
* Favorite books: Goodnight Moon; Fairy; Traffic; Go Dogs Go
* LOVES Elmo. No idea where she has seen him, other than the one book we have. She points him out whenever she might see him when we are at Target.
* Climbs up into the truck herself, and bolts to the way back and climbs into Abby's booster, proud as can be. This makes me climb all the way into the truck after her to move her into her 2nd row seat. Not so fun.
* Screams very loudly when she doesn't get her way, or if Griff takes something from her. She is by far our loudest child.
Griff
* Favorite books: Goodnight Moon; Fairy (seriously); Traffic; Go Dogs Go (yes, they like the exact same books....weird)
* Can push a stroller around our kitchen island for what seems like hours at a time, never getting bored.
* Eats more fruit than any child should.
* Will secretly climb up the stairs, go into his room, pull his blanket and paci out of his crib, and lie on the floor and rest. I now know where to look for him if I can't find him.
