More Christmas Fun...and Random H&G Pics

I tell ya, Abby is ALL OVER Christmas this year. The girl cannot wait for the big day, and is enjoying every bit of Christmas she can get....Christmas movies, Christmas cookies, Christmas music, toy catalogs, Santa questions, gingerbread houses and men.....the list goes on and on. I have to admit, it's very fun to live a bit through her this time of year - no one enjoys the season more than a 4 year old. It's a very magical time for her, and I love that she gets me caught up in the season, too.

We have an advent calendar, and each day, the first thing Abby does is open up the square for the day (the little Hersey kiss is her special treat at 8am!)...and then she counts how many more days til Christmas. Here she is opening it before school on Monday.

We also decorated more gingerbread today...this time gingerbread men. This was actually more fun, and the frosting tastse much better than the frosting we used for the house. She is still decorating the cookies; when she is done I'll post a picture. She really gets into decorating and is a bit of a perfectionist.

Here are some pictures of Hannah and Griffin from the last couple of days. They have definitely graduated to toodlerhood: they push, they shove, they cry, they scream, they giggle, they do the funniest belly laughs, they climb on EVERYTHING, they fall off EVERYTHING, they throw toys, eat toys, eat ornaments (ugh), kiss each other, hug Kona, and want to be everywhere Abby is (much to her displeasure!). You know they understand everything you say to them, and yet, you would swear they can't hear a word you say. I ask them to sit down on the couch (because there is no way I can keep them off it any more) - they smile at me, sit down, and the minute I turn around are back standing and shoving each other.....

This is a picture of Griff leaning in to give Hannah a kiss. If remember correctly, he then proceeded to push her off the ottoman.
