We got some serious snow over the last 24 hours....about 2 feet. We were completely snowed in yesterday (Saturday). We spent the day watching the snow come down...come down some more...and then come down yet some more. I think Mike secretly liked it b/c he got to use the snow blower over and over again yesterday :-) And he's out again this morning, but now he is working on clearing the pond with some neighbors so we can skate later this afternoon. Hopefully it will warm up a bit.....we got very cold temperatures along with all the snow, so I'm not sure how long anyone will last out there on the ice.
Since we had some time to kill yesterday, the kids and I made gingerbread cookies. We baked them yesterday afternoon and then frosted them this morning. They did a great job! It's messy work, but it's tasty work, so they enjoyed themselves!
