* basement is coming along. we have walls, ceilings, 1/2 of a tiled bathroom, and lots of trim and doors waiting to be installed. they are hopefully finished with all the sanding, as mike and i are a bit tired of the permanent layer of dust. will post pictures when it looks a bit more like a living space.
* abby is enjoying swim lessons and school. she still LOVES Harry Potter. Mike and I read all seven of the books to her last year. She then took it upon herself to read them again herself. She just started book 5. You will usually find her with the book in her hand, just waiting for an opportunity to sit down and read. abby and i are also counting down the days until May 5.....the Taylor Swift concert. We (okay, I) can't wait!
* hannah and griff have been keeping busy playing outside and splashing in the rain puddles after it rains. we've also taken to looking for bugs and worms. they love to swing and bike.
* we've had some pretty spring sun rises lately...the two below are from the other morning.
