Bubbles

We are on day 3,486 of rain. Running out of things to do to pass the time. We pulled out the bubbles. Again.  I think this has been the third time this week. They were new to Chance. He really liked them. Chased one bubble all the way down the street. When he caught it, he trotted right back for more. It was pretty funny.

We are so hoping for some nice weather here soon. Or at least a peek of the sun. I'm tired of wearing a jacket. I've been wearing one since September of last year. Ugh.

Rainy Saturday

Making the most of a very rainy Saturday....a little puddle jumping.  Based upon the 10 day forecast, we may never see the sun again.  As Judy Moody might say, "all this rain makes for a bummer summer."

Sprinkler Fun

The day started off a bit chilly and overcast, but by mid-afternoon the sun was out and so was our sprinkler!  Some friends joined us for some afternoon fun and everyone had a great time.

 And of course some snacks after all that fun!

Another great concert by one of our favorites Wednesday night!  I took a couple of cute pics of Abby with her friends with my phone when we got there....we'll see if I can figure out how to get them onto the MAC and post 'em!

Now I'm unbelievably tired....doesn't Griff know I didn't get almost midnight and that is well past my bedtime??

Zoo and Summer

Abby's class went to the zoo the other day as a kind of year end celebration. Mike stayed home from work so I could go with her and it was HOT.  Below are some pictures of her with a few of her friends from school.

And all of our flowers, shrubs and trees are blooming...finally looks like summer around here.  And this never gets old....fun in a box.....Mike got a new mower and the kids had to jump in the box and start playing.

In Case You Didn't Know.....

....the Newmans LOVE summer!  Took H&G to the beach yesterday while Abby was at school to kick off summer.  Didn't bring my camera b/c it was a bit windy, and Griff actually was mad that I wasn't able to take any pictures of "our first beach day."

I made up for it today....I got our slightly white-trashy plastic pools out and we had a little pool party right in our front yard :-) Abby was at an actual pool with one of her friends, so she missed the upscale fun at home. H&G loved it.  Enjoy the pics!
