More Driveway Hockey

because what else can you do when there is still 3 feet of snow on the ground on March 25?

I CANNOT wait for shorts and flip flop weather. I didn't get any pictures, but Hannah was sweeping the street while the rest of 'em were playing hockey. She was trying to remove all the snow :-)

Finished! I love this picture b/c you can see a Mom of one of Abby's skater friends cheering in the stands, arms up, celebrating Abby's performance.  The club Abby belongs is fantastic....great girls and great families, all supporting each other and wanting everyone to "skate great".

Abby skated at the Sunflower Classic Figure Skating Competition today and placed 2nd in her group! We are so proud of her!  More pictures and video to come, but wanted to get you a couple now :-)

A LIttle Driveway Hockey

The weather still sucks, but we got outside yesterday for some fresh air anyway.  We are all going a little stir crazy around here waiting for spring to arrive.  We are not sure it's really on the way.

To pass the time, Griffin, Abby and Mike played a little driveway hockey. Hannah drew with chalk, and I complained about the cold weather while taking pictures.....with my gloves on.

 Griff's favorite shot is to lift the puck.....he practices over and over and over again!

Ice Show 2013

Abby had her figure skating ice show this weekend.  This is the 4th show she has been in. She told me she can't wait until she's been in 10 :-)  It was a good show. The girls always look they are having a great time. The pictures are from her Saturday night show. She has one more performance this afternoon.  She had a large cheering section this year.....Grandma M was up from TN, Aunt Nan and Uncle Dave were there, and so was her best friend and her family.  It was dark in there, and the spotlight was having a hard time tracking her, so the pictures are just okay.  Video is much better and is coming soon!
