Wacky Hair Day

Wacky hair day at school (or favorite hat day).....Abby fully embraced the day with her best impression of Cindy Lou Whoo.  Amazing what a little wire in your braids can do :-)

Variety Show

Abby performed in her school's variety show today. She played Frosty the Snowman on her sax. I was so nervous for her before she got on stage....I thought I was going to throw up!  She played it perfectly in front of the entire school!  Turn up your volume,  you are gonna wanna hear this :-)

Invention Fair

Abby's 4th grade class held an Invention Fair the other day. Each student had to come up with an invention based upon a problem they, or someone they know, have and create a pro-type.  It was so fun to go to the fair and see all the great ideas!  There are some creative kids in her class! Abby's invention was a guinea pig feeder that attached to the side of the cage with an untippable try :-)

MoNsTeR JAM!!

We surprised Griff with a boys night out to Monster Jam with Mike tonight at the MetroDome.  Griff is obsessed with monster trucks. Loves to play the Wii monster truck games and can watch hours of monster truck videos on youtube (not that we let him do that. ahem.).  Mike sent me some pictures from the show. He said Griff is loving it and that I can't even image how loud it is!  Luckily they took ear protection. I can't wait to hear all about it when they get home!

Mariucci Day for Griff

Griff's hockey association got to play hockey at the U of M hockey stadium this past weekend. It was a fun time, but I think it would have been more fun if we were true Minnesota sports fans :-) The tour of the locker room didn't mean as much to us as it did to some of the other kids.  Here are some pictures and video of the day. I can't wait for warm weather pictures.......

Neighborhood Hockey Game

It was a beautiful day yesterday (still cold, but the sun was out!), and most of the neighborhood was out and about.  We got a hockey game going on the ice, and the kids (and Dads!) had a great time.  I was surprised at how much fun Abby was having playing with the boys. There might be a hockey stick in her future :-)  Hannah started strong, but after a 1/2 hour, she was more interested in chasing all the dogs around.  Enjoy!
