Play Ball!

T-ball, that is.  Griff had his first t-ball practice today.  After a lot of whining about not wanting to play  yada yada yada ...... he finally agreed to give it a shot.  Good thing too, because Mike is a co-coach of his team! Anyway, two seconds into practice and he was lovin' it.  Below are some pictures from the practice.

Abby's friend Olivia was there (her brother is on a different team) and the girls had a great time playing together .  Enjoy the pictures.

Just got to the field and getting things squared away with Mike.  Griff would't leave his side and was a bit nervous.

Last Day of Preschool

Hannah and Griffin are officially done with preschool.  They had a little concert for family and friends today and that was that!  I guess they are kindergardeners now -  yikes!

New Bikes!

Hannah and Griffin got new bikes the other day. They couldn't be more excited. They are using training wheels right now, but hopefully after this weekend they will be on two wheels.  Suddenly Abby looks really small on her bike, so there may be a new bike in her future, too....although she did say that there was no way she was giving up "ol' trusty".   Apparently she has named her bike.....

Oh, and do you see the silver horns on their handle bars?  I'm regretting that purchase. It's hard to resist blowing them every 5 seconds and they are LOUD.  The neighborhood dogs especially don't like them!

Updates

We started some landscaping on the backyard this week. We are extending the sod to the edge of our property and adding trees, scrubs, flowers and an additional patio.  Should look nice when it's finished....now it's just muddy :-) It doesn't stop the kids from playing back there, though!

First Communion

Abby had her First Communion this weekend.  Grandma and Grandpa Newman and Aunt Trish came up for the big day.  Abby did great and we are very proud of her.  We had a great weekend with everyone here.  Enjoy the pictures!
